Aggravated Assault, 6/22/09, 9:25 pm, Belle Island, A male reported he was assaulted by three unkown males.
Heard this call go out on our radio while working the city myself in an ambulance. The guy was beaten pretty bad… he was unconscious when the medic unit as well as Rescue 1 (swift water rescue) and Quint Company 6 got to him, which by the way took them all a good 10 minutes +. Not a good sign.
Solo trip to Belle Isle after dark, not necessarily the best idea.
