New Residential Construction on Cherry Street

As referenced in previous comments, Gamino is moving ahead with Phase 2 on the 500 block of S. Cherry Street.

Here are some pictures of new foundations and Phase 1:

I tried to format so back and front pictures would be side by side in post, but no, WordPress mocks me. Also captions are screwy.

    Fixed that.

The steps are not up to code in the first phase…no delay in occupancy however. I would be a little po’d had I just paid $300,000 for a home where the windows for phase two will overlook phase one. As a former OH resident said to me last week gamino has no style much less class. Ever notice how he is never with friends?

Looks like he’s going to duplicate phase one. It’s still open for debate who has tarnished Oregon Hill the most Gammino or Traylor. Both have little to no taste or sensitivity to the neighborhood. Just awful infill.

foundation is too close to property line. It is only 2′ 10″. Once again Gamino is pulling some SH**! the new distance is five feet…they are less than the old 3.1′. Hope the city will do something but don’t have much faith!
