Nothing distorts land use and drives up development costs more than requiring builders and businesses to provide &quot;X&quot; number of parking spaces along with their project.  Let the market take care of car parking.  Imagine all the &quot;missing teeth&quot; that would be filled in with houses and businesses instead of surface parking lots.</description>
