This latest plan still has a gross lack of parking with only 8 spaces for 29 bedrooms in 18 apartments and one townhouse. Even the 8 spaces provided are not functional because they do not have the aisle dimension required by the city code to safely pull into the parking spaces. Notice that the trash enclosure is also not functional because it is surrounded by parked cars; we are told that the developer plans to use supercans, since there would be no access to empty a dumpster. But only 12 supercans would fit into this enclosure. You would have to crawl over two rows of full supercans to fill the third row. 12 supercans would not be adequate for 18 apartments and one townhouse.
I dont know what the developer is trying to pull here. The parcel just doesn’t have the infrastructural resources to get an SUP. Six units is the logical number although the developer paid 660,000.00 for a property assessed at 270,000.00 and thinks he can pull a rabbit out of a hat at the community’s expense… Aint gonna happen.
