So people coming off the highway going 50mph would be headed straight into a blind traffic cirlce where people from the neighborhood would be coming? Not to mention this would pretty much close the street running parallel with the highway exit.
People should not be coming off the highway going 50 mph. The speed limit is 25 mph now.
This looks like a great plan. Overall well designed given the constraints in the area. Should help with connectivity between Oregon Hill and Randolph, let VCU bound traffic go directly to Harrison St and avoid the congested Cherry Street and generally slow and calm traffic coming off the expressway.
