Community Food Drive
Every week the Oregon Hill Baptist Center and
Pine Street Baptist Church provide food items for
households and homeless individuals in need.
This weekly food program is only made possible
through donations from people like you!
Join your neighbors on
Friday, November 11
5:00 – 7:00 pm • Pleasants Park
for a community food gathering at the corner of
Laurel and Albemarle Streets.
Drop off staple food items and enjoy a FREE
grilled beef or veggie hot dog and beverage.

Pine Street Baptist Launches ‘SpiritQuest’ On Wednesdays

Pine Street Baptist Church has created a Wednesday evening program “designed to feed your body and your soul”.

Meals will be offered every week. The 1st Wednesday of each month will be a FREE covered dish – bring a dish to share. Other Wednesday nights will be a prepared meal with child friendly options. Meal cost $6 for adults; $3 for children and youth; $15 immediate family maximum. Interested in a meal? Call the church to make your reservations by the Monday before the prepared meal.

The Wednesday evenings will also included a variety of group discussions and bible studies as well as children’s activities and choir practice.

Philip Turners 20th. anniversary at Pine St. Baptist Church

There will be a celebration today for Reverend Philip Turner’s 20th. anniversary at Pine St. Baptist Church. There will be a program and reception to follow at 4pm at 400 Pine St. at the church. All are invited and child care is available.
