Police Investigating Railroad Track Death

The Times Dispatch has an article on a man found dead on the railroad tracks near the Lee Bridge yesterday afternoon

Richmond police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found late yesterday afternoon on CSX railroad tracks near Tredegar Street under the Lee Bridge.
CSX Transportation employees notified Richmond police at 4:51 p.m. of a body on the tracks in the 100 block of Tredegar Street, said Richmond police spokesman James Mercante.
No foul play is suspected but the investigation is continuing.
The man’s body, that of a white male, was taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and determination of cause of death.

It should be an open meeting, open to the public, with the exception of a planned closed meeting that will take place at some point during tomorrow’s meeting.

No word on if Venture Richmond will give a more substantial response to outstanding and reasonable neighborhood concerns about ‘Tredegar Green’.
