It’s that time of year when many VCU student renters are finishing their classes and exams and getting ready to move on.
The VCU administration and the City of Richmond are trying to avoid some of the previous problems with public dumping. Please work with them to recycle and keep our neighborhood clean.

An unknown person(s) broke into the vehicle and stole a wallet.
In addition, a VCU official “also said that VCU is talking with Panda Express about adding a location to the VCU. Jamba Juice in the Commons Convenience will also be improved next semester.”

There was a meeting with contractors and City staff on site yesterday at the ramp below the Overlook at Oregon Hill. The paving of the area and addition of handicap railing will begin soon. Work is anticipated to begin within the next week to week and a half.
Please be aware that this area will be a construction site and not accessible during the project.
This work stems from state greenway grants that the Oregon Hill Neighborhood Association previously applied for and won with the help of Napi Ippolito.
